These Certified Pre-Owned items -- including telescopes and accessories -- have been thoroughly inspected by the Explore Scientific Quality Control Team to ensure the item meets our high standard. The item is then repacked, often in a new box, and prepared for shipment.
Generally these items come from one of three sources: returned, often in like new condition; traded in on another item; or new but has blemishes and marks.
Certified Pre-Owned items carry the standard Limited One-Year Warranty on mechanical and optical systems; however, because these items are pre-owned, they DO NOT carry a cosmetic warranty.
Description
Around the World or Around the Block - Bresser Everest Binoculars are the Perfect Companion!
Offering an ideal combination of superior optics, high-quality ED glass and sleek waterproof design, Bresser’s Everest Binoculars are engineered to produce precision images with intense color in any viewing situation. To maximize light transmission, Bresser Everest Binoculars use full broadband multi-coatings, which means all glass-to-air surfaces have multiple layers of anti-reflection coatings. The roof prism is made of barium crown glass (Bak4), which further heightens the contrast and clarity of the image. The high level of light transmission that results from the combination of these elements guarantees excellent performance even in twilight conditions.
The commitment to quality that is evident in the optics is also reflected in the construction of Bresser’s Everest Binoculars. The roof prism layout makes for a slender design that is easy to manipulate for proper eye distance. The user’s thumbs can settle perfectly into contoured indentations that are positioned for optimal support, while sleek rubber armor protects the device and makes it easy to grip. The central focusing wheel rotates smoothly and is textured to facilitate subtle adjustments. Twist-up eyecups guard against stray light and are especially useful for those who wear glasses. Located near the right eyepiece, the diopter adjustment wheel clicks easily into place to ensure that both eyes achieve proper focus. Instructions are included for adjusting these settings.
Beyond the eyecups, the barrels of all Everest binoculars are filled with nitrogen to protect against water and dew damage, to prevent fogging and to keep dirt from entering the binoculars. At the end, the objective lenses are protected by covers that can flip down for quick observation or be completely removed.
Housed in a sturdy molded case, the binoculars are solid but not heavy and include a tripod connection thread when extra stability is needed. The set comes with a cleaning cloth and a strap with a neck pad for extra comfort.
