Sybella Burlingame is a passionate young space enthusiast who has attended Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama every year since the age of 10, fueling her dream of one day working for NASA. Her commitment to aerospace exploration goes beyond summer programs—she is an active member of the Civil Air Patrol, the official civilian auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force. Through their esteemed Wings Program, she is preparing to pursue her pilot’s license, combining her love of aviation with her long-term goals in aerospace.
In addition to her aviation interests, Sybella is also a classically trained ballet dancer, an avid flight simulator enthusiast, and a dedicated pianist, reflecting a well-rounded blend of discipline, creativity, and technical curiosity.
Sybella has been a recurring guest on the Global Star Party, where she shares her excitement about astronomy and connects with fellow amateur astronomers from around the world. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and she especially enjoys inspiring others—particularly young girls—to look up at the stars and imagine what’s possible.
From her earliest memories, Sybella has been captivated by the night sky. With a heart set on discovery and a mind focused on science, she’s determined to turn her childhood fascination into a lifelong mission—to contribute to the future of space exploration.
